To be eligible for graduation from any of the programs, the student must meet all of the following
criteria:
1. All financial obligations must be met to include tuition and textbooks.
2. The Student must complete and pass all didactic courses, exams and internship as well as
successfully meeting all competency evaluations.
3. HESI or any other program exit examination or competency examination (if offered by the
school) must be passed.
Additional Graduation Requirements for the Radiologic Technology Program:
1. The student must have completed and must provide verified documentation of a minimum of
1,992 clinical experience hours obtained through the affiliated clinical education centers.
(Specific allowances are made for those School-wide holidays which fall on a student’s
clinical assignment days. The exact number of required hours will vary with a specific
graduating class; the number required of each graduating class will be determined in
advance by the Program Director and will never be less than 1,850 hours.)
2. The student must have successfully completed and must provide verified documentation of
the minimum clinical competencies for radiographers as defined by the American Registry of
Radiologic Technologists. The documentation must be recorded in the student’s Clinical
Competency Handbook and must be submitted for the Program’s records.
3. The student must have cleared any probationary requirements and must be in compliance
with the Program’s regulations and standards as outlined in the Student Handbook.
Students who meet all eligibility criteria within the 24-month time frame will attend a graduation
ceremony at which time a diploma will be awarded. |
